Update: Immigration Executive Order still halted despite Virginia ruling

Updated March 27, 2017

On March 24, 2017, a federal judge in Virginia ruled to uphold the Executive Order issued March 6, 2017. This decision does not change two previous court rulings that put an emergency halt to the order before it was set to take effect on March 16. At this time, the Order remains halted.

As a reminder, the decision to allow entry into the United States is made at the discretion of the U.S. immigration officer. There could be delays during the clearance process due to possible additional screening measures or confusion due to this recent court ruling.
